MCSO looking for 3 women that stole wallet from a local shop

Three women pulled off a theft at a local shop in Stuart by using a distraction to steal the owner’s wallet. The incident happened at Amber and Company Furniture and Consignment on Monterey Road, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. While the owner was distracted, one of the women quietly took the wallet from the owner’s purse behind the counter. The trio then quickly left the shop.Not long after, the stolen credit cards were used to make several purchases, including gift cards, a pack of toilet paper from Home Depot, alcohol, electronics, and a meal at a local KFC before the cards could be canceled.The sheriff’s office shared surveillance images showing two of the women wearing medical scrubs, with one also wearing a visor that said, “I love Jesus.” A third woman was not seen in the footage.The shop owner, who often brings her dog Oliver to work, was relieved that the pet was unharmed.
