THE SHOOTING TOOK PLACE AT THE SHOPS AT GREENRIDGE ON SATURDAY EVENING. NOW, AUTHORITIES SAY THAT THE SHOOTER SHOT TWO WOMEN IN A CAR BEFORE TURNING THE GUN ON HIMSELF. Deceased shooter identified after 2 women were shot at Greenville shopping center, coroner says

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who shot two women, then turned the gun on himself at a shopping center on Saturday.Greenville police said several 911 calls came just after 5 p.m. about a shooting happening at The Shops at Greenridge on Woodruff Road.The callers reported three people had been shot in the parking lot. When officers and emergency officials arrived, they found one man dead and two women injured. The women were taken to the hospital.On Monday, investigators said that surveillance video and witness statements revealed that the man was the shooter. They said it was determined that he arrived at the location, shot the two women, and then turned the weapon on himself. The coroner said Devinn Jamal Johnson, 25, was identified as the shooter.Further investigation revealed that Johnson had previously been in a relationship with one of the female victims, and the other female was a family member of hers.
