What to Wear to Oasis’s Reunion Tour

What to Wear to Oasis’s Reunion Tour

The band is back. I am, of course, talking about Oasis, who—15 years after infamously breaking up—announced a reunion tour in Ireland and the U.K. for summer 2025. The Gallagher brothers are officially definitelys, not maybes, and since they’re no longer looking back in anger, it’s time to get ready for the best band of the ’90s (sorry, Blur, but it’s true) to make its return.

I don’t believe that anybody feels the way I do (OK, that was my last Oasis pun) about this reunion. It’s the summer of working it out on the remix, clearly, and as our editor-in-chief so accurately put it, Oasis’ 2025 shows are going to be the “Eras Tour for middle-aged men”—in other words, this is the event of the decade. Tickets are going to sell out fast (personally, I’m already stressed about it, but my alarm has been set for 4 A.M. on Saturday morning to try my hand at securing one), and surely stock in Adidas and Stone Island will skyrocket, too—what the hell else is anyone wearing to this tour?

Personally, whether I secure Oasis tickets or not (let’s manifest positivity, please), next year will be the year of Oasis regardless. If you actually manage to make it to the tour, you’ve got to show up in true Gallagher fashion. Let me show you how.

The Outerwear

The Gallagher brothers don’t play when it comes to outerwear—this is serious business. In the ’90s, their uniforms largely consisted of boxy silhouettes, very high collars zipped to their chins and a lot of Stone Island. Weather is hardly a factor; we’re talking about people who got on stage and performed in knee-length parkas, heat, and stage lights be damned.

The stadiums Oasis will play next summer are all covered, but to show up in true spirits, you should don some wind-and-water-resistant outerwear anyway. Bonus points if there’s a stand collar attached.

Go to your garage and start digging through your old cardboard boxes ASAP. It’s time to pull out your old Kangol bucket hat, some retro sunglasses (rounded black lenses or dark brown Aviators are non-negotiable), and a pair of Gazelles. Accessorizing might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Oasis, but if you wanna show up to the once-in-a-lifetime reunion in true style, you’ve gotta nail it down to the details.

Noel Gallagher, 1994.

Listen—Liam and Noel hail from Northern England. Of course, there’s a lot of outerwear going on here. If you don’t want to bundle up in a parka and a puffer for a concert, I don’t blame you. Go the other route with some light, tight outerwear—a classic Adidas trackie, or a timeless denim trucker. Take a page out of Noel’s book and grab your best bomber jacket, if you want. Anything that makes you look like all that’s missing are cigarettes and alcohol will do the trick.
