The Best Street-Style Looks and Trends From Fashion Week to Shop Now

Fashion month is in full swing, and it’s providing us with endless inspiration both on the runways and off.

In Milan, Prada, Gucci and Marni’s collections helped punctuate the idea that personal style is king. In London, Simone Rocha gave us an ethereal collection full of ballet-core looks, while JW Anderson swayed into the realm of surrealism. And in New York, designers from Toteme to Tory Burch showcased trends from crafty crochet to athletic-inspired ensembles.

As the Paris shows get underway, we’re taking a moment to look at the emerging street style trends. Tailored pieces—like crisp shirting, oversize blazers, and sleek trousers—were everywhere. Similar to the capri pants trend, leopard prints and sheer skirts are a favorite among the fashion set. There were also some who took advantage of cooler temperatures this Fashion Week, opting to lean into fall/winter dressing and sporting leather jackets, trousers, and statement coats with white tees.

Ahead, shop our edit of the best street-style looks to serve as inspiration for your own wardrobe this season and beyond.

Among the more surprising trends from Fashion Week was this soon-to-be viral (we’re calling it now) sweater from COS. With its quiet-luxury appeal, the $375 piece was purchased by fashion editors in real time throughout the week (including Lauren Sherman, Rickie De Sole, and me). Here, Cara Santana sports the sweater with an A-line skirt and boots for a foolproof fall outfit formula.

13. The Crisp White Tee With Statement Trousers

Nordstrom VP of fashion Rickie De Sole demonstrates how to add a little drama to a plain white tee: by styling it with a statement pair of trousers, here by Undercover. A sweater over her shoulders (yes, it’s a trend!) adds a bit of visual interest without looking too busy.

14. The Fringe Jacket and Capri Pants

While this trend may be divisive, the truth is, capri pants are not going anywhere. Over the last few seasons, the style has made a resurgence, even receiving the Row’s stamp of approval in the label’s Fall 2024 collection. Try styling them with boho flair with a fringe jacket and hobo bag to match.
